EdGE Augments Reality!
Jamie Larsen and Teon Edwards attended the AR in Action Leadership Summit in New York City on June 6th and 7th. The Summit hosted a collection of some of the thought leaders in Augmented Reality. All sessions were recorded and will be available on the AR in Action Website (arinaction.org), as well as links to connect to the next Summit. TERC was invited as part of EdGE’s exploration into how AR and VR (augmented and virtual reality) can enhance learning. EdGE's work in AR/VR concentrates on two initiatives: (1) using technology to help people engage with and better understand nature and the world around them and (2) preparing for research on how these media might be beneficial for learners with particular skills and challenges, such as those with ADHD and autism.
If you are interested in development or research around STEM education AR/VR, we’d love to hear from you.
